“ Our first visit was for dinner on a Friday night. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Our server, Jill, was very friendly and informative. She explained the daily specials and got us started with drinks. Our soups were housemade, fresh and hot. My wife had Italian wedding soup and I had the seafood bisque, which was excellent, rich and chunky. Salad was served family style with a very nice house Italian dressing. Our entries were excellent. My wife had butternut ravioli and I had seafood fra diavalo, with shrimp, clams, scallops, mussels and calamari. Jill was attentive to our needs even as the entire dining room filled up and they had a private party going on as well. Highly recommended to us and we highly recommend to you. We will be back! ”
“ I truly like Grandpa Sams located in Spencerport. The food was tasty and certainly filling. Id walk a pretty good distance just for their bread. I enjoyed a seafood entree in Marinara sauce. My husband asked for the Seafood Fra Diavolo only without the hot spice. He said how good it was several times. The service was attentive without being overly so. We found a parking spot, but it does lack decent parking. ”

“ Family has been coming here on and off since they opened. Were talking over a decade of returning at this point. Usually make a pilgrimage there when Im back for a visit. Have yet to be disappointed in any of the food or service. Entrees still come with salad and bread w olive oil the latter of which is a concept this place originally introduced me to. Needless to say, such perks without an up charge are in short supply these days. The portions are more than generous as well, as evidenced by our frequent doggie bags. A true staple of Spencerport, and well worth any visit. ”
